EL TAMBO

El Tambo coffee is produced by ASMUCAFE (Asociación de Mujeres Agropecuarias de Uribe), an organisation of women farmers and landowners in El Tambo, Cauca, Colombia. The women who make up the association are on a mission to improve their families’ quality of life through their coffee farming. They also contribute to their local communities by working together, sharing resources, knowledge, and support, and they say their work is underpinned by shared values including ‘responsibility, honesty, commitment, respect and solidarity.
